So Brad, Nathan and I were just sitting around the table talking about pi of all things. Yes pi and crazy enough Matt was not in the vicinity. How could this happen??? Anyway, Rosie, our dog, was over in the corner on her bed and she started chewing at her back. I yelled "Rose stop that - don't be gross!" She stopped and laid there like a lady and all of the sudden Nathan says "Yeah it's like your making out with yourself!" Brad and I looked at each other with looks of - what the heck! Then started laughing. To say it surprised me would be an understatement. I seriously never thought i'd hear my 8 year old use a sentence with the phrase "making out" in it. How does he know what making out is? What else does he know?? Would i really want to know the answer to that last question??? NO!
Anyway, Nathan was Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, Daniel Crockett or Davy Boone - you choose - for Halloween. He was so cute. He loved his costume and i think has still put his coon skin cap on at least once a day since. I made his entire costume - except for the hat and the belt. I must be getting crafty in my old age. I didn't get a picture of him on Halloween - figures - but i did get some at the Trunk or Treat at church.
